Adventure should be for everyone, not just those who can afford expensive gear. We wanted to create a library where the community hires from the community. Because borrowing and sharing shouldn’t cost the earth.

BROWSE THE LIBRARY
Our library includes a curated assortment of paddleboards, kayaks, and surfboards for hire. The majority of our lending periods span a month (we are open to collect or dropoff on the first Saturday morning of each month) Every piece of Watersports gear is fully equipped with a paddle, pump, carrying bag, buoyancy aid, and a waterproof case for your phone.

COLLECT AND ENJOY
Swing by the Watersports Library on the first Saturday of the month. Don’t forget to bring your driving license for address verification. Your selected item will be prepared and waiting for you to collect.

Hours
You can come and collect your paddleboard or from the Junction leisure centre in Broadstone. We are opposite the car park on station approach. We will be open on the first Saturday morning of every month between 9am-12pm. Bring a driving license or other proof of address with you when you collect.

Our team tries hard to maintain and inspect all equipment to ensure it meets our high standards for safety and performance. Before any item is loaned out, it undergoes a thorough check to guarantee it’s in good condition for your safety and enjoyment.

Returning your borrowed equipment is as easy as borrowing it. Simply spray off your gear with fresh water, towel dry it and bring the items back to the junction leisure centre by the end of your borrowing period. If you have any questions about returning equipment, our staff are here to assist you.
